Immortal Highlander Clan Skaraven Book 5
What if your entire life had been a lie?
When Rowan Thomas was dragged into 14th century Scotland, she knew her old life was gone. But the more she learns of her druid nature, the more she questions what she knew—about her sister, herself, and her all-consuming attraction to Taran Skaraven.
The Skaraven Horse Master has always been a man of few words. He sees to the care and well-being of the clan’s mounts, sensing their needs before they do. But his link with Rowan goes beyond anything he’s ever known. Since their first moment together, they have connected so fiercely that he begins to question his judgment and their uncontrollable need to be together.
As the mad druids and their new accomplice lay final plans for the clan’s end, Taran comes to a stunning realization while Rowan forms a dangerous alliance of her own.
What Readers Are Saying
Taran is the final book in the Clan Skaraven series and it was well worth the wait. Personally, I think Hunter saved the best for last.
As ever, there are a ton of surprises in this one, the end of the Skaraven clan stories. So much suspense, I loved it!
Wow. Hazel Hunter has done it once again. I'm almost speechless by this brilliant story. Ms. Hunter is incredibly talented and I have enjoyed every book she's ever written. You just never know what is going to happen from one minute to the next. Taran and Rowan had a chemistry that is hard to beat and it took a while for them to realize it. There was never a dull moment in this novel and I am now on pins and needles waiting for her next series.
Several subplots and story lines are woven into the action along the way. As Hazel weaves them together, better than any other author I read, you realize every character plays a part in the big picture. No character is introduced without a purpose. It may not fit into the scheme of things in that book, but by the end of the series it does. Everyone she introduces is important to the completion of the story. Action, drama, love, and intrigue. It’s all there. And THAT is why Hazel Hunter is my favorite paranormal author.
Things are revealed that had me dropping my jaw and gasping over the revelations. Everything is absolutely perfect. I couldn’t ask for a more complete and fulfilling end to a series. I can’t wait to see what comes out of her brilliant brain next!
Such a sweet ending to a great series. I literally read this in one day! It was that good!
